Do you need explanation of result n-1, n how we got no. Of inages
Take 2 scenerio one 360/theta=n , n is even and one n is odd
In case of even there are n-1 sectors other than mirror sector and each sector contains 1 image try to observe by diagram . And for n=even there is a sector right opposite to mirror sector and it will contain 2 coincidence images not able to get 2 different images thats why for n even no. Of images =n-1
For odd you need to make 2 cases one when object is on angle bisector of mirro and one when not on angle bisector
For odd n lets say these are 3 sectors one of mirro and 2 opposite of it i drawn bisectors of all
Try to observe that for O on angle bisector only n-1 images forms as for more images light can't reflect again as angle>180
For not on angle bisector there will be one more image extra formed try to see it
Uhh to much math I don't understand ðŸ˜
Not much maths but bit visualization try to draw diagram for different scenarios
Try to pur bit effort to think . The effort would make you not forget it
Otherwise just remember proof not necessary
It's the bisector thing I don't understand
