Personally never enjoyed playing against the same person multiple times in a row no matter if i win/lose(even in games outside of bmp). Even worse if ur opp is known to play slow(im just very impatient ingame sue me). It feels like one long battle instead of multiple quick games. If i wanted to rematch, theres already a feature implemented.

Adding it as an option is just bc ik some people dont care about this and itll just increase the queue time

With how small the pool is, its very likely to match against the same person. I dont mind it but just not multiple times in a row.

i feel like just making the time to queue someone longer if you just played them would fix it

Queues can sometimes take >20min

And i dont think "stop playing the game for X mins" is a good idea from a developer pov tbh
