Because of the new gradient deck, I would like to propose a rework to how Pareidolia works:
All cards trigger for face-card-specific effects, and have a 1 in 3 chance for triggering on King-Queen-Jack effects.
This should not only work on Baron, StM, HtR, but also trigger with mail-in rebate and idol. With Pareidolia, rebate should only hit face cards.
Also should make all flushes 1 in 3^5 chance to be flush five (chance increaces per card with the same rank) and 1 in 3^5 chance to be flush house. This just makes playing these hands easier. Also, 4oak should have 1 in 3 chance of being 5oak, 3oak 1 in 3 chance to be 4oak, etc. (as long as you play another card)

This would make Pareidolia better as it is only useful in some certain scenarios, and this increases that count.

why buff pareidolia specifically? there are plenty of other shit jokers in the game already. Also the point of the new multiplayer decks is to see how it changes the meta and to add more variability to games, so i dont see why we should try to revert that

A pareidolia rework is really not necessary at all, and the reasoning of this being because of the gradient deck is not that valid, jokers are allowed to change value because of deck, that just makes the game more interesting, I get that pareidolia does a lot less on gradient now since there's already 5 cards considered face cards, but that really shouldn't matter imo, also that kind of rework just doesn't fit nicely into the kind of setting that the game brings anyway, first of all, there are no odds that something counts as a specific hand, it either does or doesn't (even with vampire removing stone, hands don't change), and also a 1 in 3 chance of triggering the card you want is really so irrelevant tbh, I'm not using it for held in hands effect, sure it could work for HtR but honestly this seems like a bad implementation, and also why does rebate even need more synergy when it's already the best econ joker (other than golden ticket)???
Imo this change just never works and pareidolia is fine as is even if it's basically only got midas mask synergy in multiplayer for the greedy golden ticket people that BA is, it still exists fine as a joker

Paradolia has a few use cases anyway; with sock hack or sock on a bad number which is poly.Or photo. Midas mask or on higher stakes canio. Its better than a lot of other usless jokers already
