I've recently installed Lime from the Play Store and added my copy of Tomodachi Life, but when trying to open the emulator will either place me back to the main menu or straight up crash

Tomogatchi Life doesn't work. Well unless you dump your AES Keys (aes_keys.txt) and Seed Database (seeddb.bin) from your console, put them in the Sysdata folder, boot Lime3DS and install the System Files. Then dump the Digital version of the game. You need the System Files as you need access to the System Miis.

You dump the Digital game as a CIA file, and install the CIA in Lime3DS.

I have the same issue with my copy of Mario Golf, need system files for the Miis. But, it's not worth my time to dump my AES keys, so I deleted the game from Lime3DS.
