Currently, Event Equipment doesn’t provide base stats like STR, INT, or DEX. If players want to use it, they need to replace their normal equipment, which makes their character weaker because they lose important stats.

A separate Event Equipment slot would solve this problem and make event items more useful. Players could keep their regular gear equipped while also using Event Equipment for its bonuses.

The way it works makes using event equipement situational, and I like having to choose which gear best suits a situation, rather than being able to stack all the bonuses. Aside from making the game easier, I don't see the point.

Currently it's not really situational because aside from the shirt there aren't really situations where you use the event gear. So atm they don't really have a reason to exist. Linear progression through stacking bonuses is also the bread and butter of this game genre. Things like looter shooters and ARPGs are where you'll find things like randomized gear and situational sets. Intermingling genres forces games to lose their identity and ultimately their core player-base. Not that this game has done that as of yet, but I do see a lot of suggestions looking to add a bunch of crap from other genres and it just doesn't work. Getting stronger through acquiring more bonuses is exactly the point of a game like this, so the suggestion does fall in line with the idea of the game, in my opinion. That being said, I think with how easy the event equipment is to acquire and how accessible they are so early in the game, I think a system like this would also require the caveat of being unlocked later in the game (Like Act 3 or beyond) when the bonuses will still be helpful but not staggeringly so
