Well there aren't many armour that gives a lot of defense from the monster in Village Rank 4.

The highest defense from the monster in Village rank 4 is 90. Kushala Armour is 105 but probably give you a hard time gathering mats.

I (gs main) needed to get stuff for a plesioth gs and i only had to fight him like 10 times before figuring out what to do (bait him out, wait for him to rear up to do the water gun attack and then fully charge a hit on him)
