Can we get a vowing system outside of talisman?

Perhaps an altar on the first mountain or similar location where we can pray to ancestors and for a month (or more if multiple options are allowed) we are locked out using different schools as if we were using the dedicated talisman? And it could maybe offer a small boost to the selected school for the duration.

It could be an option for a challenge or thematic run without using a talisman slot, and also a small buff before tournaments.
