A mod for AFNM that adds various origins and backgrounds to the game.

Backgrounds

School Exclusive Origins - These are make it easier to do challenge runs with only a single school allowed. A minor 15% School Affinity bonus is added to compensate.

  • Bloodline Heir: Your blood sings with ancient power, a heritage of vitality and corruption that sets you apart.

  • Blossom Nurturer: Nature has always flourished around you, plants growing stronger in your presence.

  • Celestial Seeker: The heavens have always called to you, their light and shadow guiding your every step.

  • Cloud Wanderer: The winds have always carried you, their whispers guiding your path through life.

  • Fist Disciple: From a young age, you showed an innate talent for unarmed combat, your fists moving with the precision of a master.

  • Weapon Adept: Born with a weapon in hand, you have always excelled in the disciplined arts of tool mastery.

Note +15 affinity is like +3% multiplier. If you want it to be +15% you probably want to make it boost instead

Heavenly Origins - Get a head start or defy the heavens. These scale from minor to massive buffs and debuffs.

  • Heaven Shunned: The Heavens turn their gaze from you. All stats are reduced by 1.

  • Heaven Cursed: The Heavens curse your existence. All stats are reduced by 5.

  • Heaven Damned (MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE): The Heavens damn your soul. All stats are reduced to 1.

  • Heaven Blessed: The Heavens smile on you. All stats are increased by 1.

  • Heaven Loved: The Heavens love you. All stats are increased by 3.

  • Heaven Scion: You are a beloved scion of the Heavens. All stats are increased by 9.

Changelog

v1.1.0 - Added 6 new origins that offer minor to massive stat buffs or debuffs.

v1.0.1 - Per game creator feedback, affinity buff is changed to boost to better provide a 15% power increase. Affinity is a less efficient buff stat.
