In the “Unified Theory of Cultivatiom Techniques,” it says that there are 5 Major Cultivation techniques, and that in the Jade Forest the ancient formations used a sixth technique, but the sixth one is Celestial(?). If Celestial is not included, Im not sure why a scholar wouldn’t recognize Celestial as a technique.

In “Study: The Yanshi Yun Islands,” it says that the islands resemble a “seventh” tradition of cultivation, not a sixth. I do note that the authors are different, but I feel like they should have an agreed and basic knowledge of their world at that stage.

In “The Noble Houses: A Secret History,” Elder Yun also recognizes the six cultivation techniques. But, he also recognizes that there are only 5 Major Sects.

In conclusion, I have no idea if this is an actual mistake or I’m looking too close at things, as Yin Suwan DOES state in the “Unified Theory of Cultivation Techniques” that the five mentioned are “foundational approaches,” so Celestial could be some other form of advanced cultivation that isn’t…

It's much simpler. This is written before Lu Bu Lin
