I think the smith is a major unit feeding a bit into the monarch meta. pyseph himself said monarch-like traits are unhealthy for a game and he said he wouldve never made monarch IF the game wasnt a reboot of AA. The Smith only buffing ONE unit with his masteworks is balanced but one PLACEMENT just leans into the monarch meta a bit. Masterworks should apply to all placements, however normal swords could be an exception for diversity.
