part of the problem with something like this is that it wouldnt change the amount of money you have, so for the majority of content it would just give 2 extrra slots to bring supports
which doesnt really add much variety in teams, it just makes content easier to beat
like in theory it would be cool but in practice i dont think it would truely add the team variety thats its aiming for

i dont think more slots is a good idea tbh
slots are limited which means you must make a stategic choice between dps and supports
with 8 slots it would just be 2 farms, 2-3 dps, and like 3-4 supports
and thats not really something that would add to team variety, cuz all the supports people bring are basically the same in most modes

but like if they add powercreep farms more slots would be a cool thing
