Ability idea that I saw to give shadowlings an ability that lets them “promote” one of their converts into a nightmare. Right now their minions become nightmares upon ascension but it would be cool for them to be able to make their elite into nightmares. Shadowlings would only have 1 slot for a nightmare at the start but they’d get more slots for every few conversions (like 5 for example, so 10 people converted would let them be able to promote a maximum of three people into nightmares). The people converted into nightmares would return to normal if the shadowling dies. Thoughts?

For those who don’t know what I’m talking about when I say nightmare, it’s basically a shadow person with an armblade, no inventory, no ability to use guns, great regen while in darkness, and a phase shift ability where they can move around like slasher can but get revealed by light
