I am self hosting a Fika Server, I've verified network configuration is in order. (Firewall configured to allow ports and Aki Server and Escape From Tarkov executables)
Router is also configured correctly for port forwarding. (Port 6969 TCP Forwarded, Port 25565 UDP Forwarded)
I played with a mate yesterday and he connected just fine and we played for some time together.
I different mate however has been having issues connecting. His game crashes with an error message citing "A Patch in AkiCustomPlugin Failed..." I've attached a screenshot of the error message. We've configured his ports, firewall and router (Forwarding 25565 UDP) his launcher can see my server as it makes requests to it for version, profile info, loadedServerMods etc.
The error message would indicate an issue with the SPTAki Instance itself to me, however we've treated this by verifying his base tarkov (reinstalling and verifying integrity), reinstalling his SPTAki (v3.8.1) via the Installer and installing the Fika Client on his SPTAki Instance. And none of this has resolved the issue.
He can connect to his own server with no issues. Likewise, I can connect to my own server with no issues (As can my other mate whom it works for)
We've both tried troubleshooting extensively to no avail prior to coming here to ask for assistance. Keen to hear if anyone's got any further ideas on what this could be?
I think it could potentially be Antivirus of some form. Though he is just using windows defender as am I and I have encountered no such issues with any of my Fika / SPTAki instances.
Nothing in the server logs. He says nothing in his logs either.
Thanks in advance 🙂
