Is there any intention of adding a brightness setting to the game? I have vision issues and when the game goes into night mode it's nearly impossible for me to see anything. I understand it's a game mechanic, but it's too dark for me to actually see anything. In other games I can adjust the games brightness or gamma to help, but that isn't a setting option.
#Game gets too dark sometimes

It's been discussed a few times so possible!
Just to be clear: is it the actual inner circle that you struggle to see? As in if we left the outside "pixel animations" the same but made the central part a bit less purple, would that solve the issue?
While this option doesn't really make a lot of sense in the context of Day/Night, maybe an option to keep the central circle fully lit up or at least like 80% as bright as during the day and have the darkness be replaced by "Fog" rolling in?
This way there's less of a jarring change between Day and Night but we can still keep the fog of war elements by adding literal fog
thanks 🙂 we're seeing if we can add something similar to what you suggested for 1.1 but no promises yet
Reminds me of this suggestion I had last week as well

another way to approach a less jarring change between Day/Night 🌞🌛
but for sure, for accessibility purposes it'd be interesting to be able to tweak Brightness and contrast slightly in the game settings
As someone who also has vision issues (astygmatism and basically 0 nightvision) this is also an issue for me. And for clarity yes I mean the actual inner circle. The part that's supposed to have no visibility makes sense but I actively have trouble seeing the area I AM supposed to have vision of during the night segments rendering me nigh helpless and flailing until daytime. As a result I tend to always max daylight up time and senses every run out of necessity. Sorry if it sounds like nitpicking. I'm certain people like me are a strange outlier here.
Understood and it's absolutely valid for you to say this! If it affects your playing experience we want to always hear about it ☺️
We can't commit to solving every problem for everyone (obviously!) but we do want to help make it as accessible as we reasonably can.
We're seeing if we can squeeze in a nighttime tint brightness setting for 1.1. Not confirmed yet but possibly!
very cool!
