Support is already good, but you've got an upgrade on your roadmap and I have ideas:

  • R3 to lock on, at which point R-stick or (optionally) target death move your lock
  • Option to toggle each attack, ultra or mushroom-eat button, unless it's chargeable (e.g. Stoner)
    • (i.e. Press R2 once to begin auto-attacking and press it again (or press a different attack or ultra) to stop)
  • L2+X and R2+X to upgrade or reroll would help me avoid accidental spending since X isn't used for combat
  • Option to swap to single-press (or above-described modifier-press where necessary) for all current press'n'hold commands except chargeables
  • All functions should be rebindable including menu functions
  • Within menus (including in-run menus like Evolution), the L-stick and d-pad...:
    • Shouldn't move the mouse
    • Should instead move focus to the nearest menu item in that direction...
    • ... Including all hoverable info-only items, e.g. all the Secondary Stats

And now where I'm coming from:

Right now EIC on controller is pretty RSI-inducing. I'm working four fingers and both thumbs constantly, with right thumb having to dart over to grab mushrooms. Finding optional ways to require less effort would help more folks play (including a couple disabled friends of mine, but not including me because I could never abandon Darwin .)

Thanks for the suggestions!

We're working on something similar but it's not that simple. We have lots of layered small elements that can be hovered for more info (for example the unlock and ban abilities on evolution cards).

Getting that to snap in a desired fashion in all cases is going to take a lot of time to get right
