#Why the 1.0 terrain isn’t 2d anymore

My current theory is that the 1.0 terrain was always three dimensional, it was just a matter about how yeeps saw things from their perspective. Back in 1.0, we were only limited to the knowledge of our world, so we would think inside the box. After 2.0 and heading to the gnome world, we learned that there was much more to the universe than we ever imagined, so we began to see things for more than what they are, being able to alter the terrain and make the map bigger. Which is why when we went back to the suburbs, we didn’t see the world the same way anymore, we saw it as something bigger.

Although most of this is very speculative and I’m not even sure if the developers thought that far, but I personally like thinking about this because it gives me a little insight into the way that yeeps think and how they visualize what’s going on around them
