This first part is the basis for why I believe hot cocoa is overpowered though it had to be in 2 parts. (1/2)

Please take the time to listen regardless, as this is genuine criticism and I think it's quite important: This all started from the question "What is the best gadget?" My answer is hot cocoa, because hot cocoa is overpowered. My original answer was going to be the confetti gun but it is just great, not overpowered. Shields are also overpowered, or at least, they would be overpowered but they have some downsides. Shields don't block snowballs or the shoe bola and have a large counter: Shotguns. They also, importantly enough are just ways to resist a mechanic (blocking) and are not a complete counter to that mechanic as shiels can still break and can be hit around. Even shotguns aren't a complete counter to shields and blocking as a mechanic as there is a chance it doesn't break the shield, though it's not likely to happen. And now, hot cocoa. For starters, it doesn't cost any cotton meaning that there is no opportunity cost assuming you eat the empty cup. I mean the hot cocoa has NO opportunity cost as even though it takes up a belly bubble slot, it is so valuable that it replaces anything else that could be better. It also COMPLETELY counters the mechanic of status effects. Hot cocoa can not only remove the frozen debuffs, but also the fire debuff, the slow debuff from coal, radiation, and the shoe bola. None of those make sense for a warm cup of hot chocolate to completely clear like medicine or some kind of magical liquid excluding the frozen debuff which it was originally designed for. All of those are hard countered by the hot cocoa which also completely shuts down several cool and unique strategies like fire axes, freeze gloves, and any thing you can think of doing with the cool effect that the shoe bola provides.

The second part shouldn't be too hard to find as I'm posting them back to back.
