1: Holiday exclusive mobs. Maybe a reindeer mob and Krampus boss for Christmas, or zombie, ghost, and skeleton mobs with a vampire boss.
2: Plains mobs. Maybe a chicken or a bear.
3: Bosses for every dungeon. Most likely not, but if yes, dragon boss or lava wasp for the ocean biome, bigfoot for plains "dungeon", king yeti for the snow biome, robot for facility X, and lastly, an Anubis boss for the new desert biome (if you don't know what an Anubis is, its like a human with a dogs head).
4: More flying mobs. One that would be less annoying to be fair, like a bird, or a bumble bee, that dies after stinging you.
5: Horror. More scary elements can make more people play a game to test their fear, so something like a mimic that turns into props and tries to kill you would surely work.
6: Fantasy biome updates. Don't get me wrong, I'm really into the bugs, but in a fantasy area of a game where the only mobs are bugs and a weird green yak, its hard to tell whether something really cool could happen with the whole fantasy element.
Making a game feel alive with mobs.
1: Fish in water/ocean biome. Crabs are not fish, and plus, fish can add more life and feeling to a game, almost like everything is living like its real.
2: Passive mobs. Most of the mobs in the game are hostile, and the ones that aren't can still attack you, so making mobs that don't attack you can, in fact, make everything feel more alive, especially if the mobs try to escape.
3: Mobs attack each other for food. Making mobs attack each other to stay alive integrates a food chain into a game, you could have wolves try to eat rabbits or something on the lines of that.
4: Stalking behaviors. In real life, wolves don't try to kill you when they see you, they try to sneak up when your guard is down and then pounce on you, integrating something like this gives another big fear factor into the game.
