These items can change the performance and properties of blocks in a very easy and intuitive way .
(For a quick summary and to avoid my yap read the first comment in the thread)
Yeeps has a wide range of blocks with cool effects and uses. These uses can even be expanded by painting blocks to change their properties.
However, this system has flaws, for example if you want a fan to be stronger than usual, it has to be a neon color, which appears out of place in many settings.
I suggest adding 3 new creative only gadgets to the game:
- Block upgrader; this item has the ability to increase the performance of blocks similar to the current neon paint, this could either be a flat upgrade or it could upgrade in tiers (I.e tier 1 to 2 to 3 etc)
- Block downgrader; this item does the opposite of the upgrader as instead of upgrading blocks, it downgrades them. This allows for a much wider range of builds or even the use of certain blocks for purely aesthetic purposes when fully downgraded.
- Block connector/channel editor; this block is different form the others but is still the same idea. Rather than the current system of painting blocks matching colors to connect them such as party cannons/buttons and transmitters, this item allows players to assign blocks an id from 1-100 or some other list of channels. This both allows for more visually appealing wiring builds and cannon builds, but it also allows for more than 30 different connections. (Although the devs could add more paint it has also become apparent that they are struggling to add a variety of paints, and newer additions are usually slightly edited versions of previous ones)
