As a god you should be able to send angels that tell your people to do specific things like sacrifice another human or deer.this sacrifice would be like people worshipimg you and making you level up / gain experience. Maybe the angels could also tell them to build a giant bread temple.

maybe they could also attack enemies but the damage and if you could even send one to help in battle would depend on you as gods strength
