Matchmaking is based on the size of your crew. Duos fall under the small-team (2–3) bracket and should be matched accordingly. A previously reported issue could match solo/small crews against oversized teams, but it’s marked FIXED in the Known Issues. Thanks for flagging that you ran into a 4v2—please keep an eye on it and share if it keeps happening.
