This is a known issue: characters can get stuck on rails/props/stairs/ramps/scaffolding or similar objects. Workarounds:

  • Try jumping and crouching to free yourself.
  • If that doesn’t help, respawning is sometimes the only fix.
  • If it happened after using a ladder, pressing F may correct your character.
