If you buy the battle pass on 1 account and linked to a second one and complete said battle pass on the second account (that i didn’t buy it on) after the battle pass ends will you still have everything?

You can't complete the battlepass on the linked account currrently. As it is right now, you can use the cosmetics you get from the battlepass that you complete on account 1, but if you go to account 2 it will be like you dont have the battlepass at all.
Why? Because currently only "cross-inventory" is out, full account linking which I presume would include a BP on both accounts is planned for later this year, but it may not come before this battlepass ends, we don't have any information on when it will come nor the exact specifics of it

Had a lot of inputs that weren't being registered, dodges wouldn't come out when i pressed dodge, jumps wouldn't come out when i tried to jump, my character wouldn't move to touch a wall when i input the movement

thought it was a ghosting problem at first, maybe my laptop keyboard couldn't handle too many inputs at the same time but nope. I managed to fix it by disabling vsync with the -framefixunbounded launch option in the tech test server

Overall i'm pissed beyond belief that i had to jump trough so many hoops to finally find a way to have my inputs registered correctly. The fact that you can't disable vsync straight from the options in a game that came out almost 10 years ago is a joke, and the fact that it messes with inputs is even more ridiculous.

neverfucking mind, just had a match where the game didn't recognize my dodge input 3 times in a row. I had just gotten hit by an enemy and i was trying to dodge away yet my character stayed in the air motionless as if i had put no input whatsoever. The opponent didn't even follow up, so it wasn't as if i had missed a dodge window. I think it's just EAC messing with my inputs, i got no other explenation left

in any way i can't play the game like this. Half my gravity cancels don't work, half my dodges won't register, sometimes when i press jump it won't jump
I checked with an online app to see wether it was a keyboard ghosting issue but i can press 5 buttons at the same time even lightly and it will still register all the inputs, yet in brawlhalla this all goes to shit.

and vsync technology was first introduced in 2010

disabling vsync is a matter of talking with the operating system, and operating system APIs are notably shitty to work with (fuck you Win32).

they plan to eventually merge techtest and framefix into the main branch (and probably make disabling vsync more accessible), but that doesn't seem to be a top priority thing. especially since it's rather easy to just switch to it.

Best thing to do is report them if you know they're actively being toxic ingame, hopefully you'll queue into them again after they flame you and then you can report them at the score screen

They do, there was quite a large ban wave pretty recently related to what a lot of people are presuming is toxicity but they don't really explicitly say why people got banned

As for the current cheats, there was a surge of some players who found a way to bypass eac and we're using a cheat which basically made it so you would insta dodge the frame an attack that would hit you came out and then hit them back, they weren't good enough since pros were consistently beating them but you can imagine how a cheat like that would affect lower ranked players or could be used by higher ranked players for a massive advantage, thankfully it's really obvious and afaik these cheaters aren't around anymore, the discord they used before to sell the cheat got nuked by bmg and im pretty sure they can't use that cheat anymore. There's also some funky offline cheats I've seen before like infinite jumps but afaik those won't ever work online

Idk about any skin changer but you can mod custom skins, they aren't allowed on ranked cause of eac but theres guidelines bmg has made as to modding character skins into the game and as long as those are followed they're fine to use outside of ranked,

you replace the file of the default mordex to a custom one lets say fenrir mordex

so it looks like you have the skin without paying for the actual one

I know which error you are talking about, -noeac stops eac from opening so you shouldn't have any issues with it
If you are trying to play ranked with -noeac in your launch options you can't because the anticheat needs to be running to play ranked modes
You subsequently cannot play ranked modes with certain mods installed

When i try to do a gravity cancel as part of a combo, i can almost never get it to.. actually gravity cancel for some reason. Is there a mechanic that prevents this? As you play you'll definitely get better, it does help to learn the true combo (multiple attacks into each other which you can't dodge) on whatever weapons you play as you'll want to start implementing those pretty early as they're a major part of the game, it also might help to know what the true combos are of weapons you struggle against so you know what you can and cant dodge. You can find them here https://www.brawldatabase.com/weapons/ in a great format which separates the harder ones from the easier ones which you may want to stick to if you're newer. If you do get stuck on trying to hit a combo true (undodgable) then imo don't stress on it and just try it again after some more time with the game, the better your mechanics are overall the easier combos become

As for strings (multiple attacks together which are dodgable, usually used for punishing a player without a dodge) I think they're less relevant to learn when you're new and it's better to get an idea for how you can put the attacks together yourself but it really depends on which weapons you play, a weapon like scythe relies way more on strings Vs a weapon like axe which generally gets most of its damage from combos

this is a visual bug thats happened to most people, generally the solution is just playing a game or two and sometimes restarting makes them appear again, worry not your coins aren't gone, they're just not showing

Like I said, play some games, restart once or twice and itll come back, it's just a weird visual bug

and it doesn't link to your other accounts by default. you have to select it on them.
