Okay, so, I came up with a little idea for an in-game event that’s different from the typical holiday event or crossover event.

It somewhat develops the lore of Brawlhalla and potentially brings in some unique things

So the main focus is the Fangwild, more specifically how Ember’s removal is affecting it. Without it’s daughter, the Fangwild is starting to twist and writhe into chaos, spreading into the many worlds it connects to and bringing havoc to them. Massive roots entwined in thorns shatter buildings, engulf kingdoms, and allow dangerous invasive species to enter nonnative realms. A wake of destruction is left in its rage over the death of Ember.
But, a key part of the Fangwild has emerged into Asgard; the masters of the Fangwild, the lords of the eldritch forests, keepers of the intertwined glade: the Ents and Dryads. They are the first true race that lived the Fangwild, being spawned from the very wilds itself through it’s magic. They are also one of the only beings able to travel between the worlds touching the Fangwild, but they rarely leave their forest homes. Those that do are rarely seen as they are either disguised as vegetation or those who have witnessed them do not survive long enough to tell the tale. But they must leave their home in search for the lost child of the now raging forest.
They now reach Asgard to claim back Ember to calm the Fangwild. But the gods are not so willing to give up one of their favorite fighters. So begins the great battle between Asgard and the Fangwild.

For maps, instead of making a new one, why not make some variations of existing ones? The maps can be taken over by masses of roots, vines, and thorns that may act as gateway platforms or even environmental hazards. For instance, Brawlhaven could have spiky walls that, when a player collides with it, they take some damage.

Anyway, as for more unique takes on the event, there could be an event somewhat like Splatoon’s Turf Wars. Players will choose one of two sides and duke it out. The side with the most victories will win some sort of prize. In addition, as they progress through the event, the players can unlock unique prizes, like skins and such, that the other side can’t get. But, to make things sort of enjoyable for both ends (and to make some sort of profit), the prizes of both sides will be available in the store near the end of the event
