#Frequent server disconnections on Mac when not in foreground

This may be related to macOS doing things with deprioritizing windows that aren't currently visible onscreen due to being entirely covered by other windows? But this didn't happen at all in the previous build
I'm also finding that, for some reason, a lot of the time after I return to the game window after a disconnect, the game outputs no audio at all
the missing sound seems to fix itself if I open the options from the menu and adjust volume sliders
I did find a glitch where if you decline someone's async friend challenge, that accidentally kicks that player offline instead of sending them a polite notification, oops. That might be what's going on, I'll fix this for the next update.
that's probably unrelated but still a good bug to fix
this is mostly just, if the window is fully obscured by other windows for too long, I get disconnected from the server
but if part of the window is visible then it doesn't seem to happen
I wondered if maybe it was related to App Nap (assuming I'm correctly remembering the name of the "deprioritize apps with completely obscured windows" feature) but Yomi 2 doesn't claim to support that feature anyway in the Activity Monitor
As a fellow mac player I can confirm that i’ve experienced this.
To my surprise, I have reproduced this exact problem and found its source.
MacOS does lie to the Yomi 2 application about what time it is when it's hidden behind other windows, making time appear to pass at one quarter speed, and thus timing out the network connection.
This will be fixed in the next update.
fascinating
This should now be fixed in today's update.
hmm, it seemed to be fixed for a while, but today I'm running into a situation where I get disconnected from the server and I can't even reconnect without restarting the program entirely
