#Backing out of a tournament, but losing following AI match at venue loses that tournament?

Hard to explain UI bug, steps to reproduce:

  1. Enter a tournament in the singleplayer career mode at a venue. When the tournament gives you the option to start your first match, hit save and quit.

  2. Return to the same venue. Do not press Enter Tournament. Press Begin Match. You will now be in a friendly match at the venue against an unrelated NPC.

  3. Forfeit the friendly match. You will be transitioned to the tournament progress animation screen, and be seen losing the tournament that you did not enter from step 1. << this seems like a bug?
