Is it smart to use GO for backend services?

Golang is good because almost everything in go is static linked, you don't have to worry about dependencies. So if your user is most normal people who does not know how to setup environment, or if they are tired on setup environment, go is the best choice

The disadvantage of golang is also everything in go is static linked. Then your program will be too large for embed devices.
