How to access package locally and not from git repo?

I'm a newbie to go. I'm working on https://gitlab.com/akita/mgpusim and it import some functions and structures from https://gitlab.com/akita/mem I have cloned both the repos and now I want my changes in local mem to reflect in the mgpusim local repo.
Is there a way to do that?
