We need that in this game. Game's starting to get infested with cheaters.

Sorry if that hurts anyone, but i must say moderation for this game straight up sucks ass. Only well known cheater on EU we ever got banned is Rafaelka, and that still took ages to ban him out, yet he's back on his alt accounts. There's still some other cheaters like Soma going around that have been reported many times, yet no human-made action has been taken against him (the only thing that's ever happened to him is automatic ban from the amount of mass reports).

My suggestions:

  • Introduce hardware bans + share ban for accounts that the cheater logged onto frequently;
  • Dedicate 2 moderators for reviewing clips with solid proof visible on them;
  • If company's too scared to ban out players cause of revenue loss, at least introduce ranked bans, with their duration extending for each ban the person received;
  • Use that damn kernel-level anticheat for actual anticheat purposes.

Cheaters rarely top up so no revenue loss, it just that we have no budget for this

Well you see... Your actually suggesting the devs to recruit someone to moderate those related to ppl hacking and exploiting even tho they claimed that they didnt have the budget. Now im curious on how my comment is becoming nonsensical

Maybe, but internally thats what your thinking

Then what kind of strategy are you planning for the devs to pull up?

I merly mentioning about the first comments where again...dude mentione top up for no reason when it entirely irrelevant to the discussion and here you are jumping un to conclude that i want dev to hire people to do jobs (+there are cheaters who is gigs whale who have spent thousands in an account risking it...it in every game)

Response from Staff:

Thanks for bringing this up. For the accounts mentioned here (including Rafaelka, Soma, etc.), we’ve been continuously following up on them and checking them from multiple angles, including account behavior, device info, and other related data.

In some cases, cheaters do switch accounts and devices frequently, which can make tracking and handling them more difficult.

As for things like hardware bans, shared bans, and manual review, these are already directions we’ve been considering internally, and we’re still evaluating and improving those strategies.

If anyone has specific match times, recordings, or other related info about suspected cheaters, please keep sending them through customer support. That kind of information is always helpful for further investigation.

We’re also continuing to work on anti-cheat improvements overall. Thanks again for the feedback and for sticking with us.

--- My response:
I'd like to confirm that hardware bans, shared bans and manual reviews systems already exist, There's already a reputation system in-place that would ban members from ranked if there are confirmed reports against users.

While it may be difficult to oversee every single ongoing match, it would be helpful to forward your matches to customer support (and include feedback in here) and @tidal aspen (for additional evidences) so that the players get actioned appropriately. While we cannot confirm whether they've been actioned on, or when they'll be actioned. We maintain a stable record for the staffs to review when they're ready to action.

I doubt revenue is a factor when actioning members. If a player is confirmed to be violating the rules then they'll be actioned on. There really isn't a compromise on Player Experience over revenue.

As for the anti-cheat, I know for sure that it's active but it's strange. It works and you get kicked out of the match if there are detections but yeah not sure what it's looking for. This isn't a criticism, but an agreement that the anti-cheat doesn't look like it's working as intended or that it needs to be updated to detect the new cheats.
