#Outbreak Mode – Time vs Reward Balance

The "Time Invested vs. Reward" ratio feels unbalanced compared to other modes like Escort, making the grind feel unrewarding.

Based on my recent sessions, here is a breakdown of the efficiency gap:

  • Escort Mode (Average Game): ~20-30 Rank Points for 10 min of play.
  • Escort Mode (Great Game): ~40-70 Rank Points for 10 min of play.
  • Outbreak Mode: ~40 Rank Points for 17 to 20 min of play.

Outbreak takes twice as long as an Escort match but yields almost the same rewards. The Account XP earned at the end of an Outbreak match is extremely low, which makes the overall progression feel stagnant.

Reduce Rounds from 5 to 3. A 5 round match feels too long and repetitive. Switching to a 3 round format would make the mode much faster and more dynamic. I would much rather play two separate 3 round matches than be locked into a single 20 minute session. However a 20 minute match duration doesn't fit the definition of "casual" play

If the format changes to 3 rounds, the current Rank Point gains would be fine, but Account XP should be significantly increased to properly value the players' time.

Also, there is currently a major bug (already reported #1453352844198416384) that is negatively impacting the experience for many EU players.

It's even though it is a casual game, the increase and decrease of points based on score and victory or defeat is too huge
