Second map I've made. More ambitious compared to my last map.
This is originally a Demo map but a friend insisted on making it Arena/Deathmatch; Ideally sniper, so the spawn areas are on high ground.
Featuring a tower for height advantage & an underground area!

I see you put much love into this.A well decorated map with coherent story!
The underground part is a cool route for attackers to sneak too!
but i think the site is too open with many check spots.And sniper nests with some has hard routes to counter them.
i haven't played a full match yet this is from observation

I think A is probably fine since there're a lot of objects to take cover behind.
I did test the map with a couple of friends and the main open site is B. I tried to fix it with putting the vent blocks (or tank tracks, in this case) as cover.
The tower's purpose IS to make sniping strong but I intended for it to be risk-reward. There's no real cover for them besides just taking cover by peaking.
I gave defenders an airway shortcut to get onto the tower quicker than the attackers, who have to actually climb the tower at the start.
Intention,
Defenders = better high ground
Attackers = better underground

this one is full of covers and only 2 counter paths
I'll be honest, the only reason I made that was because that spot in particular felt empty. 😅
Though through testing with other players, I've noticed it pretty much went unused.
Thx for pointing that out though.
I don't plan to really change the map but I'll take that into consideration for future maps.
The A site imo if you want to plant you have to defend like 4-5 directions at the same time
Perhaps I just prefer maps with simpler route and fewer covers but nice job anyways!

I'm not working on any maps rn.
New update changed some stuff that put me off for a bit.
Batch deleting is buggy rn.
Prep phase barrier is confusing and makes me anxious when I have to fix it in testing over and over.
Changing ctrl to middle mouse button to cancel slates/panels messing with my muscle memory.
My only defense for A site is it's pretty cluttered despite being pretty open.
So it makes it difficult for both attackers and defenders to plant or defuse the bomb.
I have to get used to the mindset of "having empty spaces is fine", but I don't like seeing empty spaces, personally.
