Map was created for Team Arena primarily, and is set to support up to 7v7, but can be played with fewer players. I have also included a Demolition mode, although this has not been rigorously playtested.

Note that if-slash-when teleporters are added in, I'll be editing the map to add them in where they should be.

WOW I was seriously thinking about remaking Hang Em High and here I'm seeing other people bringing back Halo CE maps. Legend

Yes. Combat Evolved Map added by Gearbox to the PC version. It was crazy fun for snipers and CTF

Anyone who sees this, I am rallying my Union - UPSNA - Saturday at 4PM Eastern (10PM Central European) for snipers on this map and some others. We may also have some participation from the EU branch. My union and I were just testing it, Arena has teams spawning on both sides

this is correct

I set it up so the spawns are in two kind of "L" shapes

back of one ship and most of the other

mirrored for the other team

means you're never guaranteed to be safe on one ship if you can guard the airway

since enemies can always spawn on your ship

unfortunately the spawn algorithm is straight up abysmal

and it will just randomly pick a spawn

without checking to see if any enemies are near

but I can't do anything about that lol

I can probably just change that for a sniper-only mode

makes more sense to spawn opposite ships if you're doing snipers only

made a version with all spawns on the same ship for each team, have submitted it as a cloud map, will publish once it's approved

@jovial galleon since I'm essentially doing this custom, what character(s) do you want lol

does snipers mean both Kanami and Kokona? or just one?

something to note:

1. When we played, we kept spawning near the top or the room with the long narrow window, very few times we spawned at the bottom
2. One of the guys who played on the map thinks the ships are further apart than they were in the original game. I thought it might have been a perspective issue because the original map's geometry extends past the battlefield and looks closer for that reason, but I had the same feeling

1. Intentional, spawning near the bottom in a game with gliding gives you fewer options for movement so spawns are top-loaded.

2. Intentional. You can't glide between the ships in CE, and you can't ADS with most guns in CE, but you can do both of those things here. They were spread apart a bit accordingly.
