Comments: The translation is pretty good for getting the general gist. Exactly translation/localization does need some work.

(I’ve been involved in a translation project for this manhwa for a bit, since mid January. Translation is done, but it hasn’t been entirely released because we’re intending on releasing a typeset version of it all in one go)

If "they" is referring to The Scissors and PUS, enemies enemies. Ideological differences and all that, with Strinova not being a "simulation," just an alternate dimension.

Oh so in normal areas, they are all just humans but in the strinova, they just shoot each other. I find that funny. Imagine they have lunch and by dinner they are fighting. Lol

And by they I did mean both groups, well all three

Basically, Earth got hit by a worldwide calamity that forced people to move to Strinova, an alternate dimension that the government (PUS) touted as a utopia. But then Collapse Syndrome starts occurring, and along with existing governmental corruption and fighting over resources, we get the factional split and conflict.

So it’s not just a VR world where people fight just for kicks, its a world where you have the government trying to maintain order and solve the current problems (PUS), a radical insurgency who wants to return to Earth and the natural order of things (Scissors), and a business conglomerate researching inter dimensional travel (Urbino). All three want a resource that’s in limited supply (Bablo Crystals), and thus, conflict.

Ok. So does this connect with the zombie mode? Is the calamity that hit earth is the same thing as the monsters in the outbreak mode, linking the stringify thing where you go crazy the more you become string?

AFAIK those are two completely separate things. Collapse Syndrome is a byproduct of humans living in the Strinova alternate dimension (Ch. 9 of the manhwa explains the leading theory of it being basically memory leakage), whereas it seems to be implied that the Outbreak Mode deviants are more akin to Strinova’s native wildlife, if you will.
