From a gameplay perspective it would be cool if you could do the same with screwdrivers, kind of like a mini C4 that forces the person to sacrifice themselves in the process of detonating it. The knife is much better used to stab people than sacrifice. It'd also give a new use to the screwdriver as the screwdriver is really bad combat wise. Getting chased by a dissident? Lead them to machine room and blow them up with a screwdriver trap lol. Definetly sounds like it could lead to some funny moments.
