#Mic quality issue?

The game uses equalization, pitch, reverbs etc yes to make echoes, distance sounding voices depending on where you are etc.

We don't want to just hear a mic with no atmosphere attached to it, as it would make the game sound dull for voice audio in-game.
Environmental sound is a thing it's great.

I understand that, but it is not what I meant. Things in my background, for example my computer fan, is VERY audible in game. Even when I am not speaking. It is hardly audible (if at all) in discord. There is nothing changed on my microphone, and it only happens on this game.

maybe it's some weird byproduct of the EQ the game uses for it's voice effects? I don't know. But I really wanna find a way around it to stop this very annoying issue.

Discord has built in noise suppression in the form of gates and slight compression, so yeah the game is likely set up for a more flat eq without anything like that
