Dear Where Winds Meet Development Team,
The sudden decision to rollback the unified PvP (Arena) matchmaking between the KR/JP and TW/HK/MO servers has completely destroyed the PvP ecosystem for the KR/JP region. Considering the player base connecting via Steam in our region, this separation makes the game virtually unplayable.
- A Broken Matchmaking Experience
Queue times now regularly exceed 20 minutes. Even when a match is found, we are forced to fight the exact same opponent repeatedly for over an hour. In a game where combat depth relies on reading diverse weapon setups, martial arts, and parry timings, fighting a single person continuously ruins the core PvP experience. - The Logical Contradiction of Leaderboards
It is completely illogical to separate the matchmaking pools due to ping complaints, yet keep the PvP Leaderboard unified. It makes absolutely no sense to compete for ranking points against players we are physically restricted from fighting. - Unfair Operational Precedent
Caving to the "boycott" threats and ping complaints of one specific region, while ignoring the KR/JP players who accepted the ping difference for the sake of healthy queue times, is a blatant disregard for our community.
Our Demands:
• Revert to the unified Asia matchmaking pool immediately so we can actually play the game.
• If the matchmaking must remain separated, you MUST create an independent PvP Leaderboard exclusively for the KR/JP servers.
We expect a prompt and logical resolution.
