Welcome to my first large-scale solo world build, created back in January. The idea came to me while exploring the different sects, I wanted to design a retreat where each of them could feel at home, yet still connected within a shared space.
The tower on the right belongs to the Silver Needle Sect, a haven for scholars and practitioners. It’s a place dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge where ideas are exchanged, theories are tested and quiet ambition thrives.
On the left stands the Velvet Shade Sect’s tower, a lively contrast filled with elegance and energy. Here socialites and honored guests gather to celebrate, mingle, and indulge in the finer things. Connecting the two towers are twin bridges that stretch across the landscape offering a stunning view of Qing He’s breathtaking waterfalls and scenery. Below, a bar and pool area invite visitors to unwind in a more relaxed and playful setting.
Overlooking it all is the Wu Shu Temple, representing the Well of Heaven Sect. Its open courtyard is designed for martial practice and friendly duels, while the interior houses classrooms and study spaces for discipline and growth.
Just across from the temple lies a serene open air bathhouse, the perfect place to relax and recover after intense training, completing the balance between mind, body, and spirit that defines the retreat.
(An update with the new items is on my to-do list for this silly old thing.)
