Okay, so I know that you can't build in certain areas of the guild, next to the arena for instance. But for some reason I can't build anything to the right when you enter the guild. I've seen other guilds build in that area so I am wondering if I am doing anything stupid or missing something to not be alble to build?

that's strange not too sure what you mean by "to the right" tho! if its near the arena, you can't really go beyond the dirt path since they want to clear the area around it
this is how it looks like to the right of our guild's entrance, this is the maximum we can go in terms of width (nothing beyond dirt path)

Yep make sure it's not too close to the gate that side or beyond the dirt path
The boundary line I've observed is sort of a bit before the edge of the dirt path (towards arena)
If you're placing a tree or something, the branches can't go over that line either

It's not beyond the dirt path on the grass, its the area between the entrance and that gate on the right. So I am guessing that there is a section there as well? Like, actually on that dirt path, cause I can build right up close to that big gate/wall but not on the path itself?

yeah you can only build on the dirt path up to a certain point till you reach the gate - iirc it is a bit before the actual gate

can I ask another question while you're here, I see people saying you can break down the prefab houses and use parts of it in other builds because those parts aren't in the menu or something? if so, how do you do that

i think those ones would be diagrams
i havent tried that myself but i think you place the building and fill in the parts you want
then walk up to it and there should be a menu that pops up - potentially an option to finalize it, removing the menu and the visible diagram
