Detailed Description: I have a constant 200+ ping in SOLO mode. I have seen somewhere that your UID's first digit is somewhat connected to what region you were assigned at character creation, and I'm utterly confused how I got 0 when everyone I see in Online mode has 4.

I also believe that the ping is not handled well in this game compared to others 'cause when I connect to other games' US servers, I get about 250ms max, but on WWM I get close to -- if not over -- 400ms.

please consider adding an australian server, or at the very least a new zealand server. there are many australian and **chinese **players who simply can’t fully enjoy the video game

ping regularly spikes between 270–300 ms, with perception forest being the worst offender. The closer you get to the end of a match, the worse the ping becomes, making it nearly impossible to win past mythic elo

There is no oce server. Guild is not hosted in oce, region literally doesn't mean anything here. At best it's SEA or Japan. You can verify by doing a IP check on where you're connecting. You will either be routed to Singapore, Japan, Germany or Virginia Beach (NA-E)

just swap Marvel Rival server to WWM, nobody care about that game in our region anymore, they all went back to Overwatvh lol

SEA/OCE player here. Since yesterday evening, I've got insane ping stutters. I tested if it's my isp with cmd ping to dns and google while playing the game. Ran it for 1hr and it is stable with avg 11ms. And very rare spikes. I wanna know if there's a fix for it. Ping for me is fluctuating from 70 to 300ms

For clarity, it is not a general ping issue. It only started yesterday. Has to be some issue on the server side or something.

All of the games regardless of genre that had OCE servers had to merge them because it was dead so fast

and even those mostly have it tied it with SEA or JP

WWM got seperate JPN and SEA server if they invest on another OCE server

apparently for us with 120ms+ its recommended to abuse lag and run Silkbind Jade and exploit lag haha, low ping players have been complaining about never being able to dodge high ping umbrella stun xD. but yeah its craazy how much our ping effects input lag. True combos arent even true for us

i found that 1 or 2 out of ten matches has impatient people, i tend to wait for the 30seconds to end before starting, youd be surprised how many free wins you can get that way

Detailed Description: Crashed after loading into online mode for the boat building event, when I went up to the NPC to converse.
Video: Can't remember which streaming session it was on (and can't find it right now).

Suggestion: For those on the native launcher that have the Lite mode available, have an option when jumping online, it switches to the Lite version for visuals.
My FPS is bad enough in Kaifeng city, when online, it's worse.
And when going back to solo, it'll use the Standard or HD (when released) visuals again.

This is my average using GearUp in East Australia, Still enough to climb to Mythic ranking (id recommend stopping there because you will just get matched against someone with 0-20ms) and do all available content fairly well like Hero Realm and Sword Trials. the only thing you really cant do is Co-op World helping friends with bosses.

The times GearUp shoots to 120+ is usually when i stop playing since 120ms delay really cooks your ability to hit or parry anything lol

I keep getting really bad fps. On avg it is 60 -70
on online mode it drops down to 40-50
and some particular places like kaifeng and nmw base it goes down to 20-30.

I tried changing the launcher type but all of them are giving the same issue.. Tired changing direct x to 11 and still same issue

Stop with the gearup ADS it doesn't work for everyone and in fact i was using gear and it was gave me a false reading when ingame i was still getting a steady 300 ping with it and gearup saying i was at 80 ping

yeap sometimes stable ping no counter displayed but if youve played enough laggy games you can somewhat estimate your current ping based on input delay. sometimes game will say 300ms but still be quite responsive with a 120-140ms feel

For once I'm someone in SEA not complaining about ping in the wrong thread here. So I generally have an issue with a Ryzen 7 7545? HS cpu running too hot on any windows setting Balanced or higher. Since replaced the thermal paste with a thermal pad that is too thick (2mm vs 1mm?) The temps are down 20-30 degrees but now getting interrupted by more frequent stutters and throttling but it's made more obvious a longer term issue. That for some reason guild war is better optimised and lags less than arenas and boss fights? The Kaifeng fireworks you added from 1.3 during CNY also caused a lot of overheating and shutdowns and I had to do my gear management outside of Kaifeng so it wouldn't crash even in menus

it could be good news. if WWM is locked into an alibaba cloud contract, and their us-west-1 server is the one that this new US West server is (someone who cares more could check ips once it's up), it means they should also in theory be able to utilise their Sydney server in future. it would be nice if we could be told instead of having to do the detective work however

Hey guys, So I kinda need some advice. I have recently downloaded WWM from netease for my PC. I am using my controller to play the game. Unfortunately, after sometime my screensaver pops up. It looks like my pc or monitor (I am not sure which) cant detect the controller. its just in-game detection. I never had this issue when I was playing with my steam (wwm). But the bugs was bad so I changed to netease which is way more better.

Ps: I do not want to stop using my screensaver tho.

Is there a way to fix this?

Well the last thing you could use is a bridge software that keeps the controllers active as the controllers are switching itself of, and another you can try is something in power setting increasing wakeup times but will need to check how to do

Simple is if u using PS5 controller find a bridge and use them, as the signal isn't being sent to keep them active

Legend 2 and calling it a night. combos dont land, cant land dragons breath after execution, players just walking out of "stagger lock" the list goes on. The wins i do get are pureley brain plays against 0-20ms players. this says a lot in itself. You have a ping carried community and the loyal players that actually grind and put work into being good at the game are at the biggest disadvantage ive ever seen in competitive gameplay.

More and more OCE players are speaking up about 120-400+ ping, desync, delayed inputs, and needing external programs like GearUp or ExitLag just to make the game somewhat "playable". Despite this, our region continues to grind and compete!

Consistently getting 180 or above ping in my guild, even though it's set to the region i'm in. A lot of the members are complaining of the same issue, even though they as well are in the same region that the guild is set to. I had decent ping after the Liangzhou area was added, but just before the latest update i've started getting high ping again, occasionally in Solo as well.

speedrunning in this game genuinely looks fun and the only reason i grind gear in this game is in hopes that there will be a server for OCE players or at least some sort of change that results in ping being less influential over the dps i can do. the fact i can be on 90ms and do 84 twin blade light attacks in 30 seconds and someone with less than 10ms can do 98+ is kind of an insane difference. im sure there are many others who feel the same and this is just talking PvE, i dont pvp but i hear its just "Hahaha I have 10ms you have 100ms, get permanently combo'd and the second you put me in a combo im just walking out of it."

I 100% agree a lot of OCE players are probably waiting for that green light to get back into it. And it's not like it will completely kill their OCE playerbase as soon as they say they wont open a server in our region, but we can change from grinding for min-max gear and practising damage rotations etc. to just kinda playing the game more casually

and yeah i spent on the cosmetics too until i realised theres no point dripping yourself out if your time spent in multiplayer is gonna be borderline 0

from some of the community ive spoken to, a lot in SEA/OCE guilds will be creating new OCE guilds in attempts to climb leaderboards in our region. so id assume there will still be a good number for gvg, we may not see many 30v30 at the start but i guess that would purely depend on the GvG window

considering gvgs seem to follow 8.30pm local to the server, and Netease usually run servers from Sydney, id say we should see active numbers in this case. i mean many of us oce who gvg are going the extra mile staying up pass 1am for aussies and 3am NZ just to enjoy the feature
