[FoxiKate] Sushi (SEA) Guild: Massive Xian Xia Mountain | Where Winds Meet | Page 1

Hello builders and friends!

I took on the challenge of creating a Xian Xia (Chinese High-fantasy) inspired mountain build.

The journey begins with grand stairs lined with trees leading to traditional Chinese gateways. Along the climb you'll find two side temples connected by winding stone paths. Next to it, you'll find stairs that curve naturally with the mountain’s formation, embracing the landscape as they lead you around the midsection and communal baths along the way.

At the center of the mountain pass stands a grand structure that houses an elevator, offering a direct route to the summit.
As for our crown jewel we have a massive temple overlooking the entire map. There's even a hidden bathing spot at the back reserved for the guild’s most esteemed members.

More will be added as the cap increases, turning the whole map into a living Xian Xia city.

Love the mountain pavilion scenery. And that idea of using those beams with those tips as a way to hint at an upward trajectory of the eaves. Also that framing of the central axis with the wide stairs is peak. And the colour-composition as well with the red leaves and the grey pavement. What's your take on brackets connecting roofs and pillars or columns?

There's a secret passage inside that shoots you up to the top of the mountain. 😎 I've not fully explored or ultilized brackets yet, but they can be so nice. I'm being cautious with the item count at the moment.

Thank you, my priority was making it as immersive as possible while also building it within the 5000 item limit that we currently have.

about those brackets, I mean yes the item cap is an issue but with one bracket per column or pillar and you don't need brackets on all of them it should be fairly limited, shouldn't it? I mean that's probably around 70-100 brackets to begin with. I mean I see your point but it's not that many items around 2% of the cap.

Only used to solo building where cap is far more permissive. Do you find time between commissions to work on stuff in solo? Or have you switched to full-time building guild base stuff?

I don't have a preference when it comes to building and im not exclusively building guild bases, i've done several solo world projects and theyre fun too. I like scouting for the right location and using the beautiful environment that game's got to offer.

Was just wondering because at least on the server it felt like you switched to mostly doing guild bases. Was asking because it's probably easier to get a hang of brackets in solo building.

I emailed customer support and they replied that region changing for Guilds are currently not allowed. However, I don't understand why the in-game interface still permits it. I tried change it and even received a confirmation in-game mailbox, but the region is still on Oceania instead of SEA

Are you changing it just for the server to show correctly, or is it actually affecting your ping? Hope you're able to get it sorted out eventually, customer support can be quite frustrating sometimes.
