More build item variety and functions

Does anyone know if the next update will include new items or build mode functions? like terrain, water, resizing, etc. I know not a huge part of this game and don't usually see anything about it in patch notes. Thx!

Nope afaik that won't be an option. Generally will get what CN has. Regarding the timetable who knows we got the repositioning tool after 2.something months while CN had to wait for close to a year.

Probably gonna mostly be amount of different items rather than manipulation of existing items I think. Also while sims allows mods, mods aren't a thing for WWM so that puts limit to how far you can stretch the building system.

@inner bay do you know if CN has the 5000 components limit still? Want to know if this is something thats unlikely to be expanded any time soon..

No idea. My best guess is probably yes if they focus on the estate prefab buildings. I assume that these only count as one component

I want that repositioning tool so badly. Having to build out another structure just to be able to clip and line up the items I am currently building with is so painful.

Are you on pc or mobile? Also are we talking about guild or solo building, because solo building on pc has the repositioning tool

Nvmd guild base probably. Btw solo building has the 5k limit as well. Only in small chunks or a sort of object density distribution, or something like that.

Pc and for the guild base. I’ve only got 2k of my limit left in designing our guild hall. I need to be more conservative with my materials but I’m very uptight about leaving no gaps 🤣

Not sure if that meant redesigning the whole base but will very likely have an easier time when sticking to traditional houses and estate layouts. You know like the estate in the north eastern corner of the furnace area

The diagrams still cost materials and the largest is 671 pieces if I recall correctly. They only count as one if it’s just peaceable pre-built. But I get what you’re sayin. Thankfully I’m not doing a “building” heavy design

Doesn't just apply to diagrams only. I'd reckon that even with fully manually built builds you get less object counts when having layouts the system is more permissive of

You go into the diagram section and create a diagram of the guild base and it’ll tell you

Ahh thank you. Solo has 5K limit too? I thought it was a processing thing. I feel like i've seen some massive builds on CN that looks over

in solo mode press r and then the move option but that is on pc it apparently doesn't exist on mobile

oh interesting only works for some items? whwn I try to drag different things on pc nothing shows up, just a black notification popup but no text on it
