Hi I need some pointers on making some good male-face on the game. it looks decent on previews (like on editing part) but when doing a scene preview, it looks compeltely different. I dont know if its the make up, the hair, the eyes or just basically everything. Please share some tips

honestly i dont think it looks different! if you're looking for less shadow in the eyes maybe pull them forward, but thats all i can really suggest
Think of the character creation as a studio with studio lighting vs the natural light in game! Studio lights are artificial with a bright white light. Definitely mess with the different previews until you get the angles you like.
If you want a little more natural look, go lighter on the makeup (especially eyes) so he doesn't look like he has eyebags and a sleeping disorder
that roast lol
jokes on you i like my men with eyebags and sleep disorders🙂↕️
I listened and I removed his eyebags a bit HAHAHA (i removed his makeup because I feel like I am color-blind and could not fully match anything else) but I am stuck on the side of his eyes (????) still bcs there's still some dark areas I could not fully removed and I dont know if its my monitor anymore or just me having color issues
im pretty sure that shading is because of the depth (front/back) you have his eyes at
its just natural shading from his facial shape
it also may be influenced by the eyeliner and eye shape
If you want makeup, then you can just reduce intensity instead of removing it. And if you were staring at your character sculpt for a long time, sometimes you should just take a break. Coming back later helps you see your character with more clarity.
