I understand that it is difficult to moderate it which is why it was removed, as such here is my suggestion.
You can use a form bot which will standardize the way people can post into the channel, ensuring it follows a fixed format which means less need for moderating it.
You open the form, you fill in the information, it includes configurable character limits on each field, Then it sends a message to the selected channel (No manual approving required).

Additionally, you could gate posting to the channel behind a role — only leaders/vices get it. They can apply for that role in a dedicated channel, and the form bot handles everything: auto-assigns the role on approval, lets them attach proof (like a screenshot), and all a mod has to do is hit “approve.” No spam from the same guild by several people. No manual role assigning. Clean.
Reddit is dominantly an American platform, barely anyone from EU/SEA uses it, I have a guild discord with over 400 people, and most of the applicants are from NA.
I have also seen that there is many new moderators which may make this feasible.
