Hello ,i'v started to think of building my house,can someone tell me what is a good floor to put down and pls share good house plans,looking for insperiation

Are we talking planks carpets or foundations?

Currently afaik there are only 2 wooden floor options one more tailored for indoors and the other for outdoor areas.

If you build platforms or balconies try using the outdoor platform with the frame thingy and then build an outdoor plank tile (without the frame) on top of it.

Like the planks in the lower part of the screenshot

Also what you can try (but that is a bit finicky) is building a big stone tile foundation (only the outer frame though anything more would be wasteful) and put the wooden foundation/platform asset on top of that. One of the flat ones that is

Also maybe ask @visual condor for tips and tricks. They seem to know a lot about building in wwm

honestly i just throw whatever i feel like it 😭

but i avoid anything that uses Raw Ore as building material, those r hard to get

Thanks that is one of the reasons I referred OP to you so quickly was that I can't post any menu screenshots right now and knew you'd provide all the necessary info😜

That should solve the ore problem granted takes crafting energy but still probably less of a hassle. Didn't know that was possible till reading it.

Yeah but that's competence in disguise. Ngl haven't found anyone else who knows how to build stairs yet.

well heres a floor tips? floors block can be snap.
if you slightly rotate it, snap between floors, you can make like a circular floor.
same goes with the roof here

if u r very new.. each block has a few different design.
press Z or X to switch between them.
these 2 are from the same block

Well ... There should be a blueprint-sharing option coming with a later update but for now afaik there isn't an option in-game to do so now.

I agree, at least they provide a blueprint template even if it's just a simple building design.

Question is whether the game creates a local save file for blueprints. If so one might be able to share those before the housing update

Issue with these is that the roof pieces with the higher corners are fairly bare ones atm. I fear though that most of what we'll see in the building/estate update regarding that will be prefab buildings

u can try blueprint to move your whole house, its like copy and paste

u can also go into recycle mode and drag mouse to recycle a lot of furniture at once (but only works with the same type)

but careful, we dont have undo/redo function

You can also build some of the decorations using timber and recycle them for ore
