How to Delete your account

If you have accidentally made two characters while attempting to link your accounts you'll need to create two netease accounts. One you link to your unwanted account you want to delete, and one for the account you want to keep on the Netease launcher.

Important things to remember outfits and purchases are linked to the character you made them on. Once the account with that character is deleted you will lose them. It is not possible to recover the account after it is deleted. Make sure you actually want to delete your account before starting this process!

How to delete your unwanted account

1. Login on the Official Launcher/Official App with your new Netease account you want to use to delete your unwanted account
2. Click the small arrow in the bottom left corner and select the icon of a person
3. Click link account in the menu that opens and follow the instructions inside to link your unwanted account
4. Go back to the menu you selected Link account and select Account Deletion, and follow the instructions in the menu that appears.
5. Wait 7 days, Note: Do not login to the account you want to delete during this 7 day period it will cancel the Account Deletion if you login two times

How to Bind your new account/account you want to keep after Account Deletion:

1. Login with the Netease account you want on the official Launcher/Official App
2. Click the small arrow in the bottom left, and then click on the icon of a person
3. Select Link Account in the menu that pops up
4. Follow the instructions inside the menu that appears after selecting Link Account

You can also link your accounts on the official website's account center:

When you have finished linking your accounts, you will be able to login on your desired platforms with the Netease account you used to link the other platforms in the Netease launcher

For keybindings that is in settings under keyboard and mouse there is an option to select custom. That should allow you to adjust it

As in, on the main menu on mobile, you linked it by clicking the arrow in the bottom left, selecting the person icon, going to Link account, scrolled down and linked to your playstation? Also its linked to a Netease account correct?

Same process, link the unwanted Steam account to a seperate netease account and then delete it. Afterwards link your steam back to the Netease account you want to keep through the Link account option and then start up steam

Okay, first link your Mobile account to a Netease account

Once you've done that then try to link your playstation on mobile by going to the link account option and scrolling down. If there isn't a character it will let you, if there is you will need to follow the guide to delete the playstation character using a new seperate, unwanted netease account

Hello, did you guys fix the issue with ps5? I had an account created in ps5 and then unbind it but it’s connected to a netease account. So with my main account unbound in ps5 i was lead to the title screen and then accidentally press on start so I accidentally created a 2nd account, unbind this on my psn too. Both (main & accidental) account is binded only by netease account now. My problems is i want to bind my main again on my ps5 and it wont let me saying “one game data has already been linked to this PSN account” BUT both accounts are unlinked to my psn so im lost.

Hi! If you accidentally created an account on ps5 you have to play through the tutorial and then go on settings - other - user center. Make a throwaway netease account. link that to the unwanted account in ps5. This will unlinked your psn and you’ll go back to the title screen. Don’t press anything on the title screen because currently there is no user center in the title screen on ps5.

To unbind your PSN account, go to Settings>Other>Hold triangle to access Customer Service.

It will direct to a webpage where you can unbind your account but you have to create a Netease account. Just follow the instructions like typing "Confirm" then that's it. However, once you successfully unbind your account, you can't log in your other accounts. You will create a new PSN account instead.

You need to create a second Netease account to delete it if there was an accident and you made two characters on seperate platforms. But if its still linked to the same account and you just want to delete it you can follow the deletion steps directly.

No the problem is that i made two characters on the same steam account; when i was using the first character i linked my steam account on NetEase Games. After i realized that i wasn't able to change the game difficulty so i unbound it and i created a new character. The problem is that the new one can't be linked cause in game the "User Centre" option no longer appears under Account Info; the old character disappeared even from the official website but the account it is still connected to it...an other issue is that in order to log out the game im forced to press Alt F4.

I think I understand, You'll need to follow the full guide above, including making a new, separate netease account to link the unwanted steam account to. Then follow the guide to delete it. And while you wait use your main account on the official launcher. When it's deleted 7 days later, just link your Steam using the information above

Hello, I have a problem. I wanted to delete my PlayStation WWM account, which is currently in the process of being deleted. I received the message saying I have to wait 30 days, starting December 21. Normally, my character should have been deleted yesterday, but today I can still see it in my friends list. Maybe I need to wait a little longer? I went through the official platform to request the deletion, but I’m wondering if they might have deleted the Steam account linked to my PlayStation instead. Regarding the deletion, they didn’t ask me which platforms I wanted my character deleted on.

Alright guys so I started playing on my cell phone first then I downloaded the game on my PC.. so when I tried to link my account on my pc it created a new one with the same email I used, to create the account on my cell phone.. so I tried to delete my account on NetEase and tried to use the same email to link my cell phone acc to a new Netease account and then they said I already have an existing one that I already deleted, I want my accounts to be linked with the same email adress and I don't know how to do it.. Did you wait the full 7 days after starting the deletion process. If you just started it today, it still has 7 days to go. If you login twice after starting the deletion process the account deletion will be cancelled.

No, the character would become tied to the Netease account. If you login to the Account center on the main Where Winds Meet website what charactera does it show? You can also link your accounts there too.

I figured it out, to unlink my steam account I had to add a second account to link it to so that it was linked to something after linking it to a junk email account i was able to unlink it from my steam account and than link y steam account to my ps5 account so that i can play on my charatcer on my PC or PS5. You'll need to link 2 accounts to it. Ideally a netease account and a second to unlink the account you want to link to another account.

If you have an account you want to unlink from your alt account to link to your main account, the easiest thing is probably add another email and a netease account to the alt you want to delete/unlink then neither delete the account and wait the 7 days or unlink (PS5/Steam/etc) if you want to add to your main account.

If you login twice during this process the account you selected to be deleted will have the process cancelled
