Unable to trigger the Woven in Malice quest

Edited as of Nov 27 - a quick workaround to trigger the quest thanks to our community!

#1 Go to Budha Fort in Online Mode. #2 Next switch to Solo Mode. #3 Set time to "Chen" hour. #4 Scholar should be spawned at the reference point on map in above post.

Yeah the event is not working when u click on the button. It should auto direct but instead it says "quest is not yet unlocked. Explore first"

Just found it, go to this location on the map and talk to the scholar sitting there to trigger the quest

Sorry for the late reply. You can press F1 (on pc), go to the Q&A, and ask about the name of the quest (Ex: type "Woven by Malice"), it will show you like a guide video as to where the scholar is.

I don't know why he won't appear for some players tho

I cant confirm this bc i already had all my blue books done, but my scholar was there when i went to check and im also on ps5.
So id say if he isnt showing then yeah do all the blue books and see if he shows🙏🏼

I haven’t done all my blue books, yesterday the scholar didn’t spawn but it did today

I had all my blue book quests done for a while now but the scholar was there and i got the quest 👍

can confirm, just did it. Scholar didn't spawn no matter what I did, blue books done, changed time, got map progress in kaifeng and qinghe, did granary, etc, all didn't work. worked after I did this

I had no problem I found the big trunked tree that has a bell on the ground next to it and the scholar is looking at the bell
