Thanks! I started out with something that was a barely edited preset 'cause I was excited to play, but did a few refinements/revisions to land on this -- then I had to make his whole head a bit wider so that the earring which is part of his hairstyle lines up properly.

I actually have three outfit plans for him with one of them using the Veiled Edge hair. It's meant to be more of his 'travel clothes' look.

Oh yeah for sure, but I love doing photos like that tbh it adds to the whole chinese drama female lead thing I've got going on in my headcanons XD

Also, the nose is something I probably spent the most time altering.

Same I may revisit this shape later to maybe adjust the nose sometimes I think from the side it's too big for her face

The nose is pretty tricky to work with as well. There's a lot of parts to it that don't quite work exactly how you want -- at least in my opinion.

I think it ook me 3-4 attempts to finally land on his current look.

This was the 1.0 version of him that I made when I was just excited to get in the game so I made a few adjustments to a preset. XD

Yeah some of it was wonky my first attempt was bad BUT my butt deleted it once I had my final version lol

I found her omg she's still in my presets not the WORST but definitely needed improvements

I like that we have the option to continue refining our character's look without needing to spend real world money. XD

forreal the free stuff in this game is generous and in good faith. It makes me WANT to spend money on outfits and stuff

like being able to just change our makeup and clothing on a whim is so great

It's still kind of expensive to buy the outfits, but I do like that we get some cheaper ones from time to time -- like the new one yesterday that's only 60 pearls.

One thing that I really enjoy about my character is the eye colour I landed on for him. He usually looks like he has lighter brown/gold eyes, but sometimes the lighting hits them in an... Interesting way.

Yeah, I get that. Though tbf given the game is free and the sheer staggering amount of content I've just stumbled into has been kinda almost worth wanting to support to devs at least to me.

I'm definitely not going to rally against people spending money on this game. I do think that people were right in taking a stance on that gacha skin they added which was a shop skin on the China server though. XD
