Why does my nose look plastic?

It looks a bit thin? If that's not what you're noticing it might just be the texture of it.

it appears to have a different skin texture than the rest of the face, most noticeable at the top of the nose; it's really jarring once you see it

Yeah that's most likely the issue

I think you can change it in the makeup section

Might also be a graphics issue

Does it look like that in the creation mode? It looks as if you have brought your eyebrows out too far/rotated it too much that it is cutting through the nose
