switch to online mode or switch to solo mode. it will reset. switching modes temporarily fixed PS5 menu/D-PAD issues until devs patch game!

One that seems to work is plug a mouse in to ps5 USB to access seeing and menu.

I do hope bugs like this get patched soon, because they are just about game-breaking, especially on the higher difficulties where a bug like that could cost you your entire character

So true. I'm annoyed it won't let me pickup certain things too as I'm full. Plus says I'm level 01 and i can't swap weapons and a ton of mail and better weapons to use no doubt.

So it's a known bug, then? I was going crazy since I swear it was working as intented during the first hour with the game. But on my 2nd session today the touchpad button wouldn't work at all.

If on PC, simply move the mouse a tiny bit and you'll be able to navigate the menu and use the DPad again.

I'm personally on expert difficulty, so I was having to fight several bosses with only my sword, no heals

i think its a controller issue in general, happens to me on PC as well using an xbox controller, i have to use my mouse to move around the menu then the dpad starts working again

Yeah I thought I'd missed a trick but it was an option I changed in display menu and it sprung to life, it's just a handshake problem or something.

The menu was too much, for the first time the screen didn't fit my display it crept over each edge, trying to find an appendix for what meant what say symbols, took loads of time with limited options on some and far too many on others, trying to get the hud back once it accidentally disappeared was perhaps a translation thing, I had times the menu wouldn't work at all, then same with input devices limited mobility (clean and simple) is all that's required.

The search button will conflict with ps5 on screen keyboard
