So ive noticed there are no archeological sites in Poland. I know couple of legends that could be nice references so there are some:

  1. Sleeping knights under mountain of Giewont.
Long time ago there was a shepherd who was daydreamer. He wandered as far as he never did, and discovered a crack in the mountain, letting him enter to a cave. He strolled through until he entered a huge cave room where he saw a chapter of knights, sleeping on their knees, leaning on their swords. When he crossed the roomstep of a chamber, the knights got up on their legs, awaken from their sleep. One of them, in the greatest plate of them all, with mighty eagle on his chest, asked the boy: is this the time? Boy, scarred, replied: no, not yet. Knight nodded and he and his men went back to their sleep.

i missclicked and published it.

so, goin further: the legend is referencing the time when polish might was long gone and forgotten, and knights were waiting for the call to restore the glory of Polish lithuanian commonwealth.

so there is question: knowing the downfall of elven civilization, there could be archeosite somewhere in polish tatra mountains, and some passed skillchecks, explorer could unlock some elite mounted warriors, and perhaps a great knight/accolade or something like that.
